Promoting the spirit of Ju-jitsu as a Sport and Martial Arts in Singapore and beyond

Ju-jitsu, with its Samurai roots, is a versatile Japanese martial art that merges grappling with striking and throwing.

It has two main competitive styles: the Fighting System, which tests combat skills, and Newaza, centred on ground fighting. Points are awarded for technique, and athletes are sorted into weight divisions to promote fair play.

The Singapore Ju-Jitsu Association (SJJA) is a non-profit organisation established in 1999.
